Electrical Upgrades at Spokane District 81 Schools - Spokane, WA

Extensive electrical upgrades on sixteen elementary and high schools for Spokane Public School District #81 was completed for this project. These upgrades typically consisted of three different schools being completed simultaneously.

The upgrade work completed in these schools included extending existing systems to supply power to transformers (ranging up to 500 KVA 480-208Y/120V), numerous sub-panels, receptacles, rooftop air conditioning units, emergency systems, and CATV cabling systems. At some of these sites the complete service needed to be replaced while the school was in session. Removing these services required extensive coordination with utilities, school principals, staff, and administration consisting of about twenty-five different contacts.

At each of these locations overall coordination of the project was completed, including masonry, concrete, fencing, training, sheetrock, finish, and overhead door subcontractors. To accomplish this, project scheduled were developed and updated on a weekly basis.
