Water Treatment System Construction at Longmire - Mt. Rainier, WA

This project consisted of the construction of a water treatment system and an 800 sq. ft building to house it, at a remote location for the residents at Longmire, Mt. Rainier. Located in Mt. Rainier National Park, the project presented challenges unique to this environment. Impact on the surrounding natural environment was to be minimal, although access to the location where the building was to be built was approximately 400 yards off the main road. Due to the location of the construction site, all materials had to be shuttled to the site with track vehicles. Our scope of work also included the installation and start up of new electrical service, HVAC and a fully automated programmable potable treatment system.

Project Performance

Located in one of Washington States' most prized National Parks, this project was conducted in a sensitive environment, and therefore presented challenges appropriate with work performed in a National Park. Despite these unique challenges, the project was a success.
